Where are your campaigns stuck?
Every marketer has a favorite button to press first when campaigns fail. This 17-question quiz shows where the real bottleneck lies: reach, message, sequence, destination, measurement or control.
Quiz · 17 questions · about 4 minutes
Every marketer has a favorite button to press first when campaigns fail. Often it’s a gut feeling. This quiz shows where the real problem lies, and whether that’s the button you would choose.
First, four questions about you, then about your campaigns on Google, Meta or LinkedIn. You don't have to do any research.
This is what we ask for
About you
- Where should your ads ultimately lead?
- Who are your customers?
- How long does your customer think before they buy?
- How are you selling your products now, without advertising?
Your idea
- Your campaigns are not generating the revenue you want. Which button do you press first?
Your campaigns
- How well do the applications that come in match the people you are looking for?
- Why are you advertising on the channels you are currently on?
- Pick up your last advertisement. What does the first sentence about?
- Someone who doesn’t yet know your company sees your ad. What do you ask them to do?
- Someone has already seen your ad three times. Will they see something different than someone they encounter for the first time?
- Where do you end up when you click on your ad?
- Have you ever gone through your phone to see what a new customer does, from your ad to the form itself?
- An application from your ad becomes a customer. Does the ad platform know that?
- On what scale do you measure the success of a campaign?
- How many requests come in a normal week through your ads?
- Over how many campaigns is that divided?
- A campaign flops for a few weeks. What happens then?
The questions adapt to your goal: requests, sales in your webshop, appointments or registrations.

That's how we calculate
The quiz looks at six places where campaigns get stuck. Three of them are about what your customer experiences: range (who you see ads from), message and order (What you ask of someone you don't know yet). Three of them are about what you and the platform learn from it: destination (the page where you click lands), measurement (what the platform learns) and control (your budget and how to manage it).
From answer to crisis. Each answer about your campaigns gives points to one or more places. For each place, we compare your points with the two questions that can most strongly point to that place, so that each place counts equally heavily. If your customer decides immediately, the order of importance is less important; if they think about it for months, it becomes more important.
Conversions per campaign. By calculating how many people sign up per week and how many campaigns are split up among them, the quiz calculates how many conversions a campaign gets per day. Our rule of thumb: fewer than one per campaign per day is too little to learn from, one to two is too tight.
The result. If one place clearly points the most strongly, that is your bottleneck. If three or more places point a little, they will work together to slow down the flow. If your offering without ads isn’t selling yet, that comes first. If nothing points clearly, your baseline is in place. And if none of the answers fits three or more questions, we won’t give a definitive answer.
Your first guess, the button you would press first yourself, does not count towards the score. We put that next to the result so you can see if your gut feeling is right.
